Life begins...

We are not so patiently waiting for Cheri and John's little Jayden to come and greet us. We are down to 19 days until her due date. I don't know if she is going to make it to her due date because she looks ready now. She is going into her last 2 weeks of school so she wants him to wait until at least the 25th so she can get all her finals finished.

We had a beautiful shower for little Jayden and Cheri and John are all ready for him now. Baby stuff has taken over their house. All they need is Jayden to make it complete. People have been so generous with gifts for the little guy. We had so many handmade items and I always find those so special. His room is all monkeys and he has about 20 monkey stuffed animals. He finally got one Teddy Bear that sits in the middle of the crib surrounded by monkeys (thanks for that Nora). I sure hope Jayden likes monkeys.

Amanda's shower and Clint's diaper party is this Saturday so I will be adding pictures next weekend from Liam's shower. He is growing like a weed too! I can't wait to see these little guys. It still seems like a dream to me. Liam's room is decorated in Lion King. My nursery is going to be frogs. These boys will be surrounded by jungles. I will get pictures of the nurseries this week and post them on here. I am off for Spring Break and painting the boys' room at my house is on the to-do list.

I bought the boys a pony named Charlie. Kind of strange calling the pony my son's name. My Charlie goes by Chuck to everyone but us so he doesn't seem to mind. We call the pony Charlie horse (pun intended) or Charlie Pony. He is 19 years old and has so much personality. He used to be a harness racer, then he was a party pony, then he was a lesson horse. Now he gets to hang out at my barn and get spoiled. Jimmy Choo likes him because Jimmy is the boss of the barn now. He wasn't when Cupid was here. Jimmy also isn't lonely anymore.

Paul is getting ready to start dialysis. He had his port put in about a week or so ago. Now it has to heal and then he gets training on the peritoneal dialysis that he will do at home while he sleeps. We are hoping this makes him feel better and not so tired. He will be getting on the transplant list but that could take a while to find a match. None of this has slowed him down much. He is still reffing soccer and even reffed basketball this year. It is important for him to stay in shape during all this because people that are physically fit do better with the dialysis and transplants. This will be an adjustment but Paul has the right attitude and is grateful he has all these options.

Paul and his parents will be going to Denver at the beginning of May for Jon's graduation from nursing school. I have to work and Jayden will be just arriving so I can't go. I can't believe Jon is a nurse! It will be nice to have someone else in the family we can go to with medical questions, especially with what Paul is going through. We also have Monica (Jim's wife) because she is a Physician's Assistant. We have used her brain quite a few times when we needed answers. I don't always trust doctors but I trust family that cares about us.

I will add pictures after the shower this weekend and you know there will be plenty of these boys as they arrive. I am so excited! Love you all - Cindy
