Jayden will be 3 months on the 2nd of August and Liam will be 2 months on the 7th. I can't believe it has only been a few months and these babies have become the center of our world. They are the sweetest little guys and I spend every second I can cuddling one or the other baby. I have a ton of pictures to prove it. Their personalities are coming out and we spend all our days trying to find those smiles. We are even getting a few giggles to go with them. They are bouncing in the bouncers (with the help of boxes under their feet). Jayden has taken to watching cartoons. If he is upset it quiets him right up. Liam prefers watching us.
During the week of the 4th, Paul's entire family came into town. We were missing Jim and his family but loved seeing everyone else. We had fireworks at Jane and Mel's, Paul Richard to play with, and fun in Cheri and John's pool. Summer is the best! Paul, his parents, Sue, and Gloria went to Maryland to see Maya play Lacrosse. The team came from Denver for a tournament out east. They also got to see Jim, Dominic, and Melina while they were there. I'm sorry to say I missed that trip because I had obligations at home.
Anna came back to visit us from Austria for 2 weeks. She spent time with us, the babies, visiting the mall and all her favorite food places, and visiting her friends. We decided to take a family trip to Mackinac Island while she was here because we didn't get a chance to go last year before she went home. Unfortunately, Charlie and Kortnie couldn't go because of work. We missed them We had a fun filled 3 days in Mackinaw, on Mackinac Island, and St. Ignas. Anna and John had never been to the UP of Michigan so we had to go over the bridge for them. We also went under it on the boat to the island. That was cool. The babies did great even though it was warm and the days and drives were long. It was a fun family vacation. It helped to have 7 adults taking care of 2 babies.
Life is good and I will keep you updated on how it goes as we all go back to work and school in the next month. Ugh! I don't even want to think about it!!! Can't summer last forever? Please...
