Liam is here!!!

Wow, this has been a month full of ups and downs but the most important thing is now I have two beautiful grandsons! Liam David Anderson arrived June 7, 2012 at 8 pounds even. He has strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. He is the polar opposite of Jayden with his dark eyes and hair. They are both perfect and I love them to the moon and back. I am so in love with these boys. Their parents are wonderful and in love with them too. We feel so blessed.

Like I said this month has had ups and downs. The end of the school year was stressful (I won't bore you with the details)  and Mom got really ill too. She went to ER because she thought she had the flu. It ended up being a heart attack. When they tried to do an angioplasty they found too much damage and needed to do a quadruple bypass. Then a few days later she ended up with blood clots in her lungs. It has been a long haul but she is doing better and hopefully will go home in the next day or so. It was scary for a while.

Now up again...Anna is coming back to visit us July 16-30. We are excited about seeing her again. It has been a year since she went back to Austria. We are planning a family trip to Mackinac Island while she is here. I wanted to take her there last year but the weather didn't cooperate. Let's hope it does this year. She is excited to see the babies, us, and her friends.

Now back down...Paul is on dialysis and is on the kidney transplant list. He does dialysis at night while he sleeps so at least he doesn't have to go 3 times a week and sit for 3 hours. It is still challenging. He says he is feeling better but now he has to adjust his diet because it is taking out things he used to have too much of, like protein. A transplant could take up to 5 years so say a prayer it doesn't take that long.

Back up...We have been loving family dinners with our new additions to our families. I have kept Jayden several nights so Cheri and John can have date nights. Clint and Amanda aren't ready to leave Liam quite yet. He is only 2 weeks old. I'm ready whenever they are : )

Another down...I had a mammogram yesterday because I have a lump and I have to get it removed because they are concerned. I had one last year and it ended up being nothing to worry about so let's pray this one is the same thing. Getting older is really no fun at all...except the Nana part.

End with an up note...Charlie has been doing great in his job and even did some traveling for training. He had an expense account and loved it. They put him on days and most people would love that but my night owl, hard to get up Charlie doesn't like it. It is more in tune with Kortnie's schedule so that is good for them. He spends all his days off down here loving up on his nephews. He loves those boys. He made sure he was here for each of their births. I'm hoping he can get a few days off to go to Mackinac with us. If it comes to family time, he busts his butt to make it work.

Enjoy the pictures of my beautiful boys.
Love Ya,
Cindy
