One year later...

Both the boys are 1 year old now and I can't imagine life without them. They bring us joy, laughter, and love everyday. I feel so blessed. We had the big First Birthday Bash, that they will never remember, for both boys. Luckily, Nana takes a ton of pictures so they will feel like they remember it.

Charlie was in a very serious motorcycle accident at the end of April. A woman claimed she didn't see him and took a left right in front of him. He hit the car and flew 30 feet. He has a broken pelvis, laceration above his eye and many other scraps and bruises. I have had an in-depth talk with God and he knows I owe him everything for making sure my boy came out - although broken - in one piece. Charlie has been staying with Paul and me as he heals. He will be fine eventually but is still not 100%. The only good part is that it has been wonderful having him around so much. He is getting quality Uncle Charlie time in with the boys too.

Clint and Amanda are settled in their new house and had a birthday/baptism/house-warming party last weekend. It was so much fun and they had a full house. Amanda is winding down her school year and ready to spend some quality time with Liam. Clint doesn't get the summer off with his school job (hehe) because Clint and Paul do the majority of their work when the teachers are gone. We will feel bad for them - not!

Cheri won't be getting the summer off with Amanda and me because she landed her first Big Girl job doing marketing for Farmer's Insurance. She seems to really like it. It looks like Jayden and I will be hanging out this summer with Amanda and Liam. Doesn't hurt my feelings at all. The boys are really fun now so we will do plenty of visits to the park and zoo. Cheri and I have pools too so we will be doing a ton of swimming

Nothing new with us. Paul and I just enjoy the grandkids as much as we can. We have a couple of short trips planned this summer to see friends and family but other than that we will be sticking close to the farm. Believe me, there is plenty to keep us busy for weeks.

Of course I have a ton of pictures of everyone. Enjoy!

Cindy

Joy and Happiness

This year is proving to be just as wonderful as last year was. As you know, Cheri said yes and now we are planning the wedding!!! It will be August 31, 2013 at the Botanical Gardens and the reception will be at Dusseau's which is where Clint and Amanda's reception was. The shower will be June 30th. Amanda and I are working on planning all the before activities. We are going to Put-in-Bay for the Bachelorette party. I'm super excited about that. I'm so happy Cheri wants me there. The boys are going to Florida for the Bachelor party. That should produce some interesting stories. Amanda is her Matron-of-Honor and Alyssa is her Maid-of-Honor. The bridesmaids are Ashley (John's sister), Christina, Katie, and Megan. John's groomsmen are Cody (brother), Kozzie (best friend), Clint, Charlie, Robert, and I can't remember his other friend (bad mother-in-law). It is going to be one hell of a summer!!!

Clint and Amanda just bought a house. It is literally in Cheri and John's backyard. Their cul-de-sacs back up to one another. Their houses are closer than my house is to my mailbox! We have spend a ton of time over there moving, cutting down trees (at Cheri and John's too), eating dinner, and watching the kids play. Clint and Amanda both have a job, a new house, a baby, and both are taking classes. It has been stressful but everything is calming down. Finals are almost over, they are settled in the house, and they are all over being sick (which was a challenge in the mix). Charlie was down to help move and Kortnie came down to help Amanda paint. Cheri and John helped, as did Brad and Ryan (Charlie and Clint's best friends).  I get baby duty. I love my job.

The boys are coming up on their first birthdays. I can't believe they are getting so big! Both of them are taking a few step, but neither one is off and running...yet. They both have so much personality. I enjoy every second of my time with them. I have Jayden saying "Nana." I almost have Liam there too. Liam called the mini pony "dog." They are just too cute.

Cheri's John's new adventure is he is going to become a fireman for the Bedford Fire Department. He has to go on a run every day and take classes. Ours is a volunteer department but John is getting experience so he can apply to the bigger cities. It is a big commitment and we are proud of him.

Not much new with the rest of us. I posted a few of the million pictures I take on a regular basis. It was really hard to narrow it down to these!

Cindy
