Clint and Amanda's Wedding

Nothing could have prepared me for the experience I had yesterday at my son's wedding. The day was perfect from start to finish. Getting the hair done and getting dressed was a process. It was all worth it, everyone looked amazing. I have posted 24 pictures of the hundreds (maybe thousands) that were taken. These are only mine. Amanda's family took 500 (I took 200) and the photographer took at least 1000. Then there were the cameras on the tables, everyone's personal cameras, and the video. I have only seen mine so far and I am blown away by the beauty of the day.

I started off at the hair dressers and got my "do" and then dressed, added some makeup, and headed to Amanda's. We got her and all the wedding party dressed. Everyone met at the photographers and we did outside pics. It was in the 70's and no bright sun, perfect day for pictures. Then we headed to Bedford High School and took the family pics. We had decorated the auditorium on Wednesday and it looked beautiful. Teresa made all the flowers and bows and they were stunning. Clint had a video of Amanda and him growing up and that ran the entire time we were there. Clint made the programs and Teresa made show tickets for all the guests. Some people thought we needed them to eat - lol. Teresa wanted the experience to be like a show starring Clint and Amanda, it worked. The ceremony was beautiful and went off without a hitch. After the wedding, we headed over to Dusseau's for the reception. The food was wonderful, as was the company. We toasted, ate, and danced the night away. Amanda even allowed Paul to sit with me during dinner. Paul did double duty as parent and groomsman. I have never seen him dance so much. The music was great and we even had entertainment with the theater crowd that was there. Amanda said that she will have to divorce Clint so we can do this all over again - it was simply too much fun.

I am so lucky to have the family I have. My kids are amazing people and now they are adding even more amazing people to my life. I didn't realize how wonderful this day would be. I had an idea, but until I experienced it I really didn't know that my heart could actually spill out of my eyes as tears of happiness. I'm starting to understand why this part of my life will be just as good as the rest has been. It isn't an ending, it is a beginning. I have more weddings and grandchildren to look forward to. I'm going to try and remember this as I take Cheri to Adrian College next Sunday.

Enjoy the pictures and I am sure I will post more when I get them from other photographers.

Love you all,
Cindy
